My name is Molly McAdam, I am a UMD student and this is my blog! My goal is to intertwine my areas of interest into one blog. Since I'm a Spanish major, I thought the title of my blog Rico Eco, rico meaning rich in Spanish, was fitting and witty (if I may say so myself). I also want to stay with the theme of being environmentally engaged so stay tuned to see how it all comes together!
There are 6 possible types of posts on my blog. They include:
- Advocacy Project
- Eye Openers
- Reflections
- Eco-Chic Lifestyle Change
- Read 'n' Seed
- Share and Voice

I have recently begun to really delve into what it means to be a Health Educator and I have taken steps to give myself a good foundation for when it comes time to leave UMD. I recently secured a volunteer position at SMDC and have been hired as a personal care assistant in an adult foster home. Throughout the past three years I have been able to discover my passions; now it is time to put them to a good use!
Hello Molly I like your blog layout, it's very environmental friendly. I like your picture of the North Shore and lighthouse. I spent a lot of time on the North Shore this past summer so I enjoy seeing other pictures of it. I think it's awesome that you're taking steps to provide yourself with a foundation after UMD. I too was a PCA at a company here in Duluth for a few years working with special needs kids.
ReplyDeleteI like your photo, I love the drive up the north shore. Although I don't like the taste of some of those vegetables, I do think it is very colorful and a great background for your blog!
ReplyDeleteHi Molly! I really like the backround of your blog! I like that you're a spanish major since we have so many community health majors in the class! Hope you have fun blogging with us this semester :)
ReplyDeleteHi Molly! I love how you combined your name with your interest in Spanish. Your background is also very cute with the carrots! I too have begun to dive into our major because I really want as much experience as I can get before I graduate! I am looking forward to see what our group has to post about.
